As I’m updating my voiceover portfolio, I realized that this part of my career deserves a space where I can keep expanding, experimenting, and sharing my progress. Which is why I was inspired to create this blog today.
Now, I don’t pretend to know exactly what casting directors listen for or what makes them stop and say yes – this is the voice! But I do know what I’m working on, what I’m excited about, and how I’m continuing to grow as a female voice actor and performer.
So that’s really what this blog is all about: the process.

A New Video Game Demo Is Coming Soon
One of the biggest updates to my voiceover portfolio, is a brand-new video game demo that I’m currently putting together with fellow voice actor and demo producer Kevin Kilpatrick (site under development, but you can contact him direct if you’re looking to update your demos too.) Can’t recommend him enough!!!!
If you know me, you know that I love character voice acting. The process of creating gritty NPCs to magical creatures, to warm, grounded heroes excites me, and this demo gives me a chance to bring all of that to life from my professional voiceover studio.

Refreshing My Voiceover Demos
Along with the video game demo, I’m slowly revisiting my past work to focus on creating new types of voiceover demos to show my vocal range, personality, and of course – audio quality.
I also want to make sure that all of these voiceover demos align with the kind of work I want to book now, not just what I’ve done in the past…
In addition to my commercial voiceover demo and eLearning demo, I will be adding to my voiceover demo page . It will include 3 new additions and then some:
- #1 Video game voiceover demo
- #2 Animation demo
- #3 Message on-hold demo
- Plus: Character snippets, narration samples, updated baby demo, creature demo, and so much more!
My plan is simple: show a clear range in my female voice demos without overwhelming anyone who listens.

What I’m Focusing On Right Now
As I build out my refreshed voiceover portfolio, here are the areas I’m being extremely intentional about:

1. Consistency
I have always been aware of producing quality audio for every project, and I want to keep that consistency. Making sure every demo has the same high level of polish and professional audio quality.
2. Authenticity
Leaning into the styles, genres, and character voices I truly enjoy performing, not trying to be “everyone else.”
We all have certain qualities that make our voice unique, and I want to lean into that even more.
3. Clarity
Making my work easy to find, easy to listen to, and easy to understand for anyone who lands on the page. Simple, clear and with purpose.
4. Expansion
Adding more specialized demos as I grow, including medical narration, eLearning, and more gaming and animation content. Because we can only scratch the surface in a demo, so it’s time to add more for production companies to explore.
Why This Matters
Personally, I believe that a strong voiceover portfolio is more than a list of demos, it’s a way to show who I am as an artist. It evolves as I evolve!
And right now, that evolution is exciting! It’s a chance to share the hidden pieces of me that no one hears or sees at a first glance.
This new rebuild will give me a chance to share that growth openly, honestly, and without pretending to be something I’m not. I’m learning, practicing, upgrading, and stepping into new spaces, and I’m proud of where things are heading.
If you’re curious, stay tuned, the video game demo is coming soon!!!
