THE CRAFT

What it actually takes to work underwater.

01

Breath Control

Trained freediving-style breath hold ranging 45 seconds to over a minute of working time, with full cognitive clarity throughout.

02

Movement

With a background in dance and physical fitness, neutral buoyancy control, choreographed drift, and limb isolation that reads as effortless on camera.

03

Communication

A pre-established signal system with every photographer and videographer that’s clear, silent, and built for safety and precision.

04

Safety

Every shoot includes a qualified safety diver. Non-negotiable, every time, on every set.

What it really takes to work beneath the surface.

Most people assume underwater modeling means holding your breath and looking pretty. The reality involves years of physical conditioning, a trained nervous system, and a silent professional language built with every photographer and videographer I work with.

I wrote a full breakdown of the breath control, movement training, and on-set communication that goes into every underwater shoot.

Safety First, Always

Every underwater shoot is performed alongside a qualified safety diver. This is non-negotiable on any set I work on, and it’s a standard I encourage every client and production team to require.

BOOKING PROCESS

What working together actually looks like

01

Share Your Vision

Send your shot list, mood board, location, and timeline. The more specific the brief, the more precisely I can deliver it underwater.

02

Pre-Production Call

We review poses, garment behavior, signal system, and depth requirements together before we ever get in the water.

03

On-Set Performance

30–90 second performance takes per descent, with appropriate surface intervals, always alongside a qualified safety diver.

04

Deliverables

You walk away with imagery that wows people. Because it’s the product of real training, not a lucky shot.
